The Maskalorian landed on planet earth in the fall of 2020. Armed with hundreds of masks and wanting to give people a smile throughout the pandemic, The Maskalorian has connected with thousands of people in an effort to “help keep the public safe.”
After the recent revelation that the air is now breathable and masks not being as necessary as they once were, The Maskalorian has made appearances across the galaxy without his helmet and mask, as he has chosen to “walk between both worlds.”
In 2023, The Maskalorian continues his adventures with a variety of other characters he refers to as The Intergalactic Misfits. This weekend he is taking his ship to London where he will be connecting with folks attending Star Wars Celebration.
Intergalactic Misfits will also be an upcoming live action video streaming and video project by Matt Adams, creative mind behind the project and the one under the helmet. Intergalactic Misfits are unique characters that live in the star systems that are never mentioned, but just because they are “misfits”, this doesn’t mean that they can’t still be heroes. Since The Maskalorian’s first appearance, he has had a full feature written about him by The Washington Post, millions of video views on TikTok, and a loyal following on Facebook. He even made Reddit’s year end recap video when he took a transatlantic flight wearing his armor and handed out masks on the airplane.
